Bronzino

Agnolodi Cosimo Bronzino (1503- 1572), was the leading Mannerist painter of mid-16th-century Florence. He served as the court painter of the Grand Duke of Tuscany. Mixing styles of the late High Renaissance into the early Baroque period, Bronzino's refined and stylish works have been described as "icy" portraits. Additional to his Frescoes and Portraits, Bronzino created series of religious works.
