Product Description
If you are an animal lover, you will adore this wild life elephant towel inspired by Rembrandt's sketch “An Elephant,” created 1637, currently at the British Museum.
Rembrandt's study illustrates the earliest document of the Asian elephant species - Elephas maximus. The Natural History Museum in London’s reported: “Rembrandt’s paintings and sketches are the original and correct portrayal of the type specimen of an Asian elephant.”
We titled the Neoclassical Pop Art print “My First Elephant" in memory of this incredible 17th-century animal performer, known as Hansken. She sword fight, wave a flag, put a hat on her head, and was luckily documented by the greatest Master of her time, Rembrandt.
Wrap yourself up with this super soft and cozy luxury towel. It’s a historical piece of a playful animal in playful green and pink pop colors.
