Part of the Art Cafe Mugs series by Neoclassical Pop Art.
The Conceptual Art mug "Eye of Providence" draws on the eye of God watching over humanity, as seen on the one-dollar-bill, and on Leonardo Da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man" drawing, located at the Gallerie dell'Accademia, Italy.
In his book De architectura, the 1st-century BC Roman architect Vitruvius set out the ideal proportions of the human body; around 1490, Leonardo da Vinci drew them as the Vitruvian Man. Beauty, complexity and symmetry of the human frame meet in the "Universal Man," a perfectly balanced classical approach.
This Neoclassical Pop Art Vitruvian man comes with a da Vinci quote "Illuminate yourself. You are the light. Simply be".
This brawny version of ceramic mugs shows its true colors with quality assurance to withstand heat in the microwave and put it through the dishwasher as many times as you like, the quality will not be altered.
