Product Description
Pink-yellow Vitruvian — executive socks.
Soft pink and yellow still feel considered with grey flannel.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man (Studio di proporzioni del corpo noto come Uomo vitruviano), c. 1490 (Accademia exhibition label: 1498), Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (cat. 228) — an ideal figure in two poses, inscribed in a circle and a square. Along the leg runs a new, original Neoclassical Pop Art image, a Pop homage that reimagines the original drawing.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the proportion study and dresses the pattern in contemporary colour. The old masters meet pop culture: the geometry stays recognisable, the feeling becomes wearable, and a museum sheet becomes part of the day.
Pull them on for spring Fridays.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
A Neoclassical Pop Art pair of socks.
