Product Description
Green royal race — Sforza horse energy.
Colour is back in everyday objects, and pedigree still matters.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's A design for an equestrian monument (recto; Royal Collection RCIN 912358), c.1485–1488, Royal Collection, Windsor. A rearing-horse study for the unfinished Sforza Horse Monument commissioned by Ludovico Sforza — horse as power and proportion. Neoclassical Pop Art created the green image on this mug as a new original, a homage in Pop colour to the Renaissance original.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the horse's drive and dresses the study in royal colour — green. The old masters meet pop culture: the composition stays recognisable, the feeling becomes contemporary, and a museum image becomes something you reach for every morning.
Hang the morning on this handle. Quiet taste, poured hot.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
A Neoclassical Pop Art mug.
