Product Description

green heat, classical calm — Self Portrait in Green.

Designers are mixing old-master composure with pop colour; that is the mood here.

The source is Leonardo da Vinci's Self-portrait (red chalk), c.1517–1518, now at the Biblioteca Reale, Turin (Musei Reali). The master's late hand: spare, searching, unmistakable. Neoclassical Pop Art created the green image on this mug as a new original, a homage in the Pop idiom to the original painting.

Neoclassical Pop Art keeps that searching face and lays it into a colour grid — green. The old masters meet pop culture: the composition stays recognisable, the feeling becomes contemporary, and a museum image becomes something you reach for every morning.

Leave it out on the breakfast bar. The right people will ask about the colour.

A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.

A Neoclassical Pop Art mug.
