Titled " Vitruvian Man", the Zebra pattern and light pink Neoclassical Pop Art laptop sleeve celebrates the return of the "Vitruvian Man" initially created by Vitruvius, the 1st-century BC Roman architect whose De architectura is the oldest surviving book on architecture. The Original drawing is known as "Le proporzioni del corpo umano secondo Vitruvio", 'The proportions of the human body according to Vitruvius', and it illustrates the blending of mathematics and art provoking the Classical Renaissance symmetry and harmony. Neoclassical Pop Art created the pink image on this laptop sleeve as a new original, a homage in Pop colour to the Old Master drawing.
The initial sketch by Vitruvius appeared in his book, also known as the earliest Italian architecture book. It inspired Leonardo da Vinci's famous ink on paper drawing "The Vitruvian Man", created c. 1490, currently at the Gabinetto dei disegni e delle stampe of the Gallerie dell'Accademia, in Venice, Italy.
