Product Description
Abstract Vitruvian Pop — executive socks.
Proportion under a cuff still counts as dressing.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man (Studio di proporzioni del corpo noto come Uomo vitruviano), c. 1490 (Accademia exhibition label: 1498), Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (cat. 228) — an ideal figure in two poses, inscribed in a circle and a square. This pair of socks carries a newly made, original artwork by Neoclassical Pop Art, a Pop homage to the master drawing.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the proportion study and dresses the pattern in contemporary colour. The old masters meet pop culture: the geometry stays recognisable, the feeling becomes wearable, and a museum sheet becomes part of the day.
Pull them on for boardrooms that reward a second glance at the ankle.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
