Product Description
Light purple — Beethoven Frieze socks.
Soft purple ornament still feels Viennese without costume.
The source is Gustav Klimt's Beethoven Frieze, 1902, Secession Building, Vienna (permanent loan from the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere) — ornamental figures from the Secession's XIVth exhibition wall cycle (NPA series title: Sampling Paradise). As a new Neoclassical Pop Art original, the purple artwork pays Pop homage to the Secession original.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the Viennese master's ornamental line and turns it into a batik-forward sock pattern. The old masters meet pop culture: the Viennese frieze energy stays, the palette becomes street-ready, and a museum wall cycle becomes something under a cuff.
Wear them with black trousers and a quiet shoe.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
A Neoclassical Pop Art pair of socks.
These socks are extra comfortable thanks to their cushioned bottom. The foot is black with artwork printed along the leg with crisp, bold colors that won't fade.
