Titled "Lola", the Neoclassical Pop Art artwork inspired by Eduard Manet "Lola de Valence," created 1862, currently located at Musée d'Orsay, Paris. The nineteenth-century original is the point of departure; the image itself is a newly made, original Neoclassical Pop Art work in Pop homage.
Lola was a Spanish Ballerina performing in Paris, during the time Diego Velazquez and Spanish culture inspired Manet. Consequently Lola is posing in Francisco Goya's "Duchess of Alba" posture.
