Part of the Art Cafe Mugs series by Neoclassical Pop Art.
Titled "David Against Orange", this vivid multicolor Neoclassical Pop Art artwork is inspired by Michelangelo 13’5″ tall, double life-sized King David statue. Michelangelo carved the marble original between 1501 and 1504; it stands in the Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence. Few statues in the art world are more recognizable. King David's heroic nature makes the statue a symbol of the defense of civil liberties.
This brawny version of ceramic mugs shows its true colors with quality assurance to withstand heat in the microwave and put it through the dishwasher as many times as you like, the quality will not be altered.
