Product Description
David's Yellow Pink Blue in yellow pink blue. Pedigree, poured hot.
The morning counter is the new gallery wall for people who already know the painting.
The source is Michelangelo's David, 1501–1504, now at the Galleria dell'Accademia, Florence. Carved larger than life in marble; a civic emblem of courage and liberty. Read the yellow and pink image as a Pop homage to the original sculpture, and as newly made, original art by Neoclassical Pop Art.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the silhouette and sets it in bold colour fields — yellow pink blue. The old masters meet pop culture: the composition stays recognisable, the feeling becomes contemporary, and a museum image becomes something you reach for every morning.
Let guests find it on the counter. Recognition first. Then the colourway.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
A Neoclassical Pop Art mug.
