Product Description
Titled "Bella Isabella," this Neoclassical Pop Art artwork is inspired by Sir Peter Paul Rubens's chalk drawing "Lady-in-Waiting to the Infanta Isabella," circa 1623, in the Albertina, Vienna, and follows his oil portrait of the same sitter at the State Hermitage Museum, Saint Petersburg.
The Hermitage painting is a posthumous idealized portrait of Rubens's elder daughter, Clara Serena (1611-1623). She died at the age of 12 years old.
This painting is a limited edition of 12.
