Product Description
Baroque court portraits, remixed with funk.
The Flemish master's chalk study of a lady in waiting to the Infanta Isabella gets a Pop remix as "Clara Serena, Lady-in-Waiting", playful above a black foot.
Titled "Clara Serena, Lady-in-Waiting," this Neoclassical Pop Art artwork is inspired by Sir Peter Paul Rubens' chalk drawing "Lady In Waiting to Infanta Isabella," the eldest child of Rubens, created 1623 and currently located at Albertina, Vienna. Along the leg runs a new, original Neoclassical Pop Art image, a Pop reinterpretation in homage to the Baroque master drawing.
