Product Description
Blue-green pocket watch — Vitruvian in silver.
Cool metal and a museum sheet still belong in a jacket.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man (Studio di proporzioni del corpo noto come Uomo vitruviano), c. 1490 (Accademia exhibition label: 1498), Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (cat. 228) — an ideal figure in two poses, inscribed in a circle and a square. Under the crystal sits a newly made Neoclassical Pop Art original, a Pop reinterpretation in homage to the Renaissance drawing.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the proportion study and dresses the dial in contemporary colour. The old masters meet pop culture: the geometry stays recognisable, the feeling becomes wearable, and a museum sheet becomes part of the day.
Open the silver case between trains — blue-green spiral, circle and square.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
