“Alexander in Pop Armour” is Neoclassical Pop Art's new Pop take on Leonardo da Vinci's “Profile of a Warrior in Helmet”, made c. 1472 and now at the British Museum, London. In blue and green, the helmeted profile reads cool and heraldic.
Da Vinci's drawing is after his Teacher Andrea Verrocchio portrait of Alexander the Great.
