Product Description

Titled "Mona Lisa," this Neoclassical Pop Art artwork is inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa," created c. 1503โ€“1519 and currently located at the Louvre, Paris.

Mona Lisa is one of the most valuable paintings in art history described as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world".

The painting portrays Lisa Gherardini, an Italian noblewoman and the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. Mona is Italian for My lady. She sits in the posture of the Virgin Mary, a Renaissance ideal of womanhood.

Famed for the 'Mona Lisa's Smile', and "The Mona Lisa Effect" Da Vinci used human optical illusion to create a unique smile and eyes that follow the viewer.

The Mona Lisa influenced contemporary Florentine painting even before the completion of the painting. Several of Raphael's works use elements of the portrait's composition and format. Later influences include appropriation artwork amongst Marcel Duchamp, Picasso, Salvador Dalรญ,  and Andy Warhol.

A novel contemporary one-piece colorful style for the "sphinx of beauty who smiles so mysteriously": that is the Neoclassical Pop Art Mona Lisa.

An original artwork to collect. Created by the Neoclassical Pop Art studio, it is an original contemporary painting. A collectible statement piece where the Old Masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
