Product Description

Titled "Mona Lisa" the Neoclassical Pop Art artwork inspired by Leonardo da Vinci's "Mona Lisa," created c. 1503–1519, currently located at the Louvre, Paris.

Mona Lisa is one of the most valuable paintings in art history described as "the best known, the most visited, the most written about, the most sung about, the most parodied work of art in the world".

The painting portrays Lisa Gherardini, an Italian noblewoman the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. Mona in Italian means My lady. She is sitting in a posture of the Virgin Mary, portraying a Renaissance ideal for womanhood.

Famed for the 'Mona Lisa's Smile', and "The Mona Lisa Effect" Da Vinci used human optical illusion to create a unique smile and eyes that follow the viewer.

The Mona Lisa influenced contemporary Florentine painting even before the completion of the painting. Raphael used elements of the portrait's composition and format in several of his works. Later influences include appropriation artwork amongst Marcel Duchamp, Picasso, Salvador Dalรญ,  and Andy Warhol.

The Neoclassical Pop Art Mona Lisa offers a novel contemporary colorful style of the "sphinx of beauty who smiles so mysteriously".

A collectible original artwork. Created by the Neoclassical Pop Art studio as an original contemporary painting. A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
