Product Description
Pink-blue colorful ankle socks — Vitruvian Space Man.
Pink and blue at the ankle still feel optimistic.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man (Studio di proporzioni del corpo noto come Uomo vitruviano), c. 1490 (Accademia exhibition label: 1498), Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (cat. 228) — an ideal figure in two poses, inscribed in a circle and a square. An original Neoclassical Pop Art work, the pink and blue image is new art and a Pop homage to the original drawing.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the proportion study and dresses the pattern in contemporary colour. The old masters meet pop culture: the geometry stays recognisable, the feeling becomes wearable, and a museum sheet becomes part of the day.
Wear them with white sneakers and rolled denim.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
