Product Description

Zebra stripes frame the ideal man on a compact pouch for a handbag or carry-on. Neoclassical Pop Art came up with the zebra frame, and the Pop tribute makes the drawing a new Pop graphic. Leonardo goes travel-size.

Neoclassical Pop Art's “Vitruvian Man” sets “The Vitruvian Man”, the ink-on-paper drawing Leonardo da Vinci made c. 1490 after Vitruvio, now at the Gabinetto dei disegni e delle stampe of the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice, Italy, inside a zebra frame. The Pop contrast makes a compact pouch easy to spot.

The original Vitruvian Man drawing was created by Leonardo da Vinci around 1490, based on the proportions described by Vitruvius, the 1st-century BC Roman architect whose De architectura is the oldest surviving book on architecture. Known as "Le proporzioni del corpo umano secondo Vitruvio," or the "proportions of the human body according to Vitruvius" demonstrates how the blending of mathematics and art provoked the Classical Renaissance symmetry and harmony.

This Accessory Pouch is built to last, using weather-resistant spun polyester threads, and it retains its shape, doesn't wrinkle, so doesn't require ironing. It comes with lining on-woven white or black laminate inside and zipper closure.

Bold pattern, perfect proportion.
