Titled โBack Figure," the Neoclassical Pop Art artwork inspired by Michelangelo drawing โStudies of the Back and Left Arm of a Male Figure,โ created c. 1523-24, currently located at Teylers Museum, Haarlem, Netherland.
A true Renaissance man, Michelangelo was a painter, sculptor, engineer, architect and poet. Michelangelo was often dissatisfied with himself and with his work.
Michelangelo brainstormed the early stages of his masterpieces in sketches. Near the end of his life, he destroyed most of his drawings, not wanting people to know how hard he worked to accomplish the final artwork.
Expressive and charming, this Neoclassical Pop Art portrait is an artwork that explores Michelangelo's glorifying human figure as the expression of his celestial source.
This luxurious portrait is a Neoclassical Pop Art artwork that is both classical and contemporary, a Fine Art Print to add character decorating the wall of any space.
