Product Description
Desk-plane presence: the Vitruvian Man. The Renaissance master's draftsmanship, held for contemporary living.
"Vitruvian Man" is a Neoclassical Pop Art artwork inspired by Leonardo Da Vinci's "Vitruvian Man," currently located at the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice. Neoclassical Pop Art created the brown image on this mousepad as a new original, a homage in the Pop idiom to the Old Master drawing.
Based on the proportions described by the 1st-century BC Roman architect Vitruvius, the original drawing was created by the Renaissance master around 1490. A "Universal Man" is portrayed, embodying the perfect classical balance of beauty, harmony and symmetry of the human frame.
The Neoclassical Pop Art artwork shows the Vitruvian Man in front of the Eye of Providence pyramid, iconography of the eye of God watching over humanity.
The symmetric structure serves a good visual meditative focusing for the mind, perfect for your working environment,
The collectible Vitruvian Man mousepad makes a fun and funky gift that will be an attractive decor on any desk
