Product Description
Zebra green Vitruvian — executive socks.
Green zebra with Vitruvian structure feels deliberate.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man (Studio di proporzioni del corpo noto come Uomo vitruviano), c. 1490 (Accademia exhibition label: 1498), Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (cat. 228) — an ideal figure in two poses, inscribed in a circle and a square. This is new art, not a reproduction: an original Neoclassical Pop Art image in Pop homage to the Renaissance drawing.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the proportion study and dresses the pattern in contemporary colour. The old masters meet pop culture: the geometry stays recognisable, the feeling becomes wearable, and a museum sheet becomes part of the day.
Pull them on when the shoes are brown and the suit is soft.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
A Neoclassical Pop Art pair of socks.
