Product Description
Zebra red Vitruvian — executive socks.
Red zebra and Vitruvian geometry — two signals, one pair.
The source is Leonardo da Vinci's The Vitruvian Man (Studio di proporzioni del corpo noto come Uomo vitruviano), c. 1490 (Accademia exhibition label: 1498), Gallerie dell'Accademia, Venice (cat. 228) — an ideal figure in two poses, inscribed in a circle and a square. The artwork is Neoclassical Pop Art's own: new and original, and a Pop homage that reimagines the master drawing.
Neoclassical Pop Art keeps the proportion study and dresses the pattern in contemporary colour. The old masters meet pop culture: the geometry stays recognisable, the feeling becomes wearable, and a museum sheet becomes part of the day.
Wear them when you want the ankle to finish the argument.
A collectible statement piece where the old masters meet pop culture, made for true art lovers.
