Product Description
The hottest clash in the collection: violet and orange. Neoclassical Pop Art chose it to push the homage to the sunflowers to the limit, and the result is a new artwork. Bright enough to spot from the water, and big enough to share.
“Parisian Sunflowers” in purple and orange is the loudest of Neoclassical Pop Art's tributes to “Four Cut Sunflowers”, painted by Vincent van Gogh in 1887 and now at the Kröller-Müller Museum, Otterlo. Violet against orange pushes the complementary clash to its limit.
The unusual composition of a few cut sunflowers gone to seed is one of the highpoints of Van Gogh Parisian period.
Complementary colour that refuses to fade into the background.
